Can you get water intoxication from drinking too much beer?

Is it possible to die from water intoxication from drinking too much beer? Me and my mates are planning a crate challenge (24x440ml cans in 24 hours), therefore apr. 10 liters of water. I'm wondering if this amount can cause water intoxication.
