I cant forgive my husband?

my husband disappeared for 8 hours on friday when he finally answered his phone he was with his friend that i do not like and i heard a woman in the background came home drunk took away his keys he hit me he called cops ended up getting arrested for public intoxication had my van repo i picked him up the next day from jail anyways he wants to sweep everything under the rug and pretend nothing happened i cant forgive him i feel like he disrespected me hes now mad cause i wont forgive him how can i forgive him i need suggestions he doesnt want to talk about it
