He might like you. The "awkward" thing you did isn't really that awkward but most guys aren't into emotional stuff like that. I mean if a girl just bursts into tears I would be sorta put off. He also spaced out cuz' guys don't like girls who complain alot, not saying you do. But, it shouldn't damage your relationship with him. I think in this situation it's best to ask him upfront if he likes you.
