Can i get things removed from my police record :S?

About 5 months ago my friends played a prank or me, they put something in my drink and when i was passed out they stripped me and put me out on the front lawn. A police saw me and took me to the station until i woke up, they thought i was drunk and apparently the kept a record of it, cause i went for a job interview yesterday and they asked me about it. I have charges for indecent exposure and public intoxication :S Is there anyway i can get rid of this record? Other than that i have no record and i would really love if i can get rid of that cause it was a horrible prank and i don't want it to jeopardize my career.
